History

Important Stages
June 2003. Enquiry within the commune and Terre Sainte assessing needs for facilities for younger children. Result: shortage for children from 0 to 5 years old.

October 2003. Adoption of a resolution financing a preliminary survey, by Coppet town council, in order to create facilities at the Centre des Toises. Premises are freed up and immediately reserved.

July 2004. Validation of the resolution for the facilities to be created. Additional premises are also found on the Lausanne side of town, enabling the roundhouse to be used, thus increasing capacity to 66 children.

23rd May 2005. Opening of the Coppet Nursery – Day-Care Centre.
July 2006. Adoption of the resolution to equip a 215 m²-open-air playground.
